Features of the new Finepix HS20EXR, Fuji’s new camera

Fuji competes with Nikon and Canon digital cameras for enhancements such as lenses, zoom and speed. Here’s what the market’s newest digital camera has to offer.

Every time there is a new digital camera the market is invaded with criticism about the product. Usually, these criticisms are made by the way the product is launched into the market. But the real review of a cameras features is done by users, who at the end of the day use it the most.

Today is the turn of the new Fuji FinePix HS20EXR of which features a powerful 30x optical FUJINON zoom that is the equivalent to 35mm: 24 – 720mm. The result equals superb image quality and a smooth approach.

New technology incorporated Fuji

This camera has the new EXR technology in combination with the CMOS sensor with 16 mega pixels that allows for the opportunity to take photos in different ways. Has High shooting and Resolution where the mega pixels are pushed to the limit, the ARD (Wide Dynamic Range) which leaves nothing missing; High Sensitivity mode that is able to shoot in adverse conditions with minimal lighting level noise, ideal for night photography.
EXR Processor

Users always expect a new model to hits the market to offer greater speed than the existing ones in terms of information processing is concerned, well, the FinePix brings an intelligent processor capable of recognizing up to 27 types of scenes, including forests, skies and backlit scenes. It also reduces chromatic aberrations to improve the sharpness especially at the corners of the image.

Creative shooting modes

The FinePix brings two new shooting modes to unleash ultra enhanced creativity and photographic inspiration.

The first is a 360 Panorama Mode, which is very easy to use to ensure no camera panning is permitted. Just move the camera from left to right and top to bottom for the new processor to do its job.

The second is the all new Film Simulation Mode, where a photographer can choose a type of film like Velvia, Provia and Astia according to the effect desired for each shot. In this mode, you can shoot with the same degree of color, sharpness and hue similar to using original film.

High speed continuous shooting

The FinePix can shoot at 8 fps with full resolution and can take several continuous shots of a moving subject and achieve a snapshot of the image so that the details are reflected to the maximum.

It incorporates high-definition video, we are talking about 1080p here, and a super high-speed feature that can record up to 320cps per scene.

External features of the FinePix

One can say that one of the weaknesses of this camera is that its size does not allow for a proper comparison to similar cameras from Nikon or Canon in terms of accessibility of the buttons and LCD monitor size that is maintained in 3.0-inch standard. It comes with a mini HDMI port to watch the videos on a Full HD TV. It has an option for external flash should you need to get a better flash.

In summary, the FinePix HS20EXR is a very good when it comes to getting a camera that offers great image quality particularly in poor lighting conditions. Also comes with a program to create a photo album, that is easy to use and can help you organize your photos.
