Talking about operating systems the HTC EVO 4G is powered by Android 2.1 OS. On the outside the HTC EVO is easy to handle as it offers a very grippy feel and is not too thick, surprinsingly thinner than most moder smartphones, but it is taller than the iPhone 4S something users may not approve off.
The outside is colored in a nice dark color with silver touches on certain parts of the phone. The HTC EVO 4G is all touch screen with no keyboard and comes with a pen for easier access
To bring the phone from sleep mode it is almost virtually the same as the iPhone and a host of other HTC phones, it has a touchable button for easy access. The phone is very fast able to switch between landscape mode in a snap, similarly its no slouch when watching video or listening to music making the device a joy to carry around.

And through Android Market, you’ll get access to thousands of useful applications, widgets and fun games to download and install on your phone, with many more apps being added every day. The HTC EVO 4G also includes HTC Sense, a user interface overlay from HTC that makes it easy for you to create an individualized mobile experience tailored specifically to your needs.
